Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario ACTO is a province-wide community legal clinic with a mandate to undertake legal and law reform advocacy with the goal of broadening the legal rights of low-income persons in respect of their need for adequate and affordable housing.
Campaign 2000 A cross-Canada public education movement to build Canadian awareness and support for the 1989 all-party House of Commons resolution to end child poverty in Canada by the year 2000.
CWP – Canada Without Poverty A non-profit, non-partisan organisation that represents the interests of low-income Canadians.
Centre for Equality Rights in Accommodation Promotes human rights in housing and works to remove the barriers that keep disadvantaged individuals and families from accessing and retaining the housing they need.
Centre for Social Justice An advocacy organization that seeks to strengthen the struggle for social justice in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and globally.
Charter Committee on Poverty Issues A national coalition created to bring together low-income activists and poverty law advocates for the purpose of assisting poor people in Canada to secure and assert their rights.
The Dream Team Works for more quality, supportive housing, for those experiencing mental health and addiction issues, and to reduce the barriers in their lives resulting from poverty and stigma; and to do so through public education, research, advocacy and example, utilizing and capitalizing on members’ personal experience.
Federation of Metro Tenants Associations The FMTA advocates for tenants in Toronto and provides information to tenants and support to them to form tenant associations.
Interfaith Social Assistance Reform Coalition A coalition of faith groups working on issues of poverty, hunger and homelessness in Ontario.
Justice for Girls A non-profit organization promoting support, justice and equality for low-income and street-involved teenage girls who have experienced violence.
Justicia for Migrant Workers Composed of migrant workers and allies, Justicia fights for the interests of workers in Canada’s Temporary Foreign Workers Program, including workers in the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program and the NOC C and D Agricultural Stream.
KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives KAIROS unites Canadian churches and religious organizations to advocate for social change.
Low-Income Energy Network aims to ensure universal access to adequate, affordable energy as a basic necessity, while minimizing the impacts on health and on the local and global environment of meeting the essential energy and conservation needs of all Ontarians.
LIFT – Low-Income Families Together A community based organization located in Toronto, which speaks out on issues of concern to low income people in Ontario and develops innovative educational and economic programs to serve that community.
No One is Illegal No One Is Illegal is a migrant justice movement rooted in anti-colonial, anti-capitalist, ecological justice, Indigenous self-determination, anti-occupation, and & anti-oppressive politics.

Workers Action Centre A worker-based organization in Toronto committed to improving the lives and working conditions of people in low-wage and unstable employment. We want to make sure that all workers have a voice at work and are treated with dignity and fairness.
